Early 1900s Bates & Bacon (B&B) Gold Tone Hinge Bangle Bracelet - BR247
A gold tone hinged bangle bracelet signed by B & B. The B&B hallmark is on the box hinge tongue. Bracelet measures 5.5" diameter 3/8" wide, 1/8" thick and weighs 17 grams. Edges of the bangle are squared. At one time there appears to have been attached a safety chain which is no longer there. The holes for the chain are visible. The box catch snaps snuggly shut.
The B&B is the Bates and Bacon Co. of Attleboro, Ma. founded in 1856 to c. 1943.
