Historic Octobrist/Oktyabryonok Medal Star Pin for the Soviet Octobrist Communist Youth Organization. The pin was worn by children age 9 and under that were indoctrinated into the Communist Party and its values. It is a 5 pointed red enamel star with a gold plated profile of Vladimir Lenin as a child on white enamel. Pin measures 1.25” wide with a bar pin backing. The backside of the pin is marked with curved arrow and u-10K.
