The sails are silver in color and the ship hull has a gold tone. The ship hull has stamped port holes along the top.
The brooch closure is a modern safety catch with a straight pin that fits tightly into the closure.
Mexico, 825 and TS - 79 are stamped on the back along with the makers mark. The makers mark appears to be two pine trees.
Measuring 2" in length, 1.5" in width and weights .55 oz this brooch would look great on a jacket or scarf.
There is some tarnish on this brooch that can be easily cleaned. It is pre-owned and is in very good condition.
